How To Become The Person God Intended You To Be
How much time do you think we spend at work?
I'm going to say a lot.
Sadly, most people don't enjoy what they do for a living.
Yet, that's all they do.
They forget life is more than work.
Did you choose the job you are in for money, fulfillment, or the chance to contribute?
It pays the bills, is what I often hear.
The demands of everyday living cause us to do what we need to survive.
But who wants to survive when they could live the life God intended them to live?
That slight feeling you get when you finally slow down and hear a quiet voice telling you there is more to life.
Well, my friend, God speaks to you and me through our conscious.
Work is not the only requirement to get ahead in life.
A long time ago, before the foundation of the world, God had a plan for us.
Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure. Ephesians 1:4-5 NLT
God chose us, and it gave Him great pleasure.
We need to be like God and choose ourselves and be happy with that choice.
It's not selfish.
It's okay to love yourself.
People not accepting and loving themselves is the core problem with people's lives.
They pursue contentment in all the wrong places because of it.
They seek drugs, gambling, relationships, and working but never fill the empty void.
There is only One who can fill that void.
Your Time To Shine
God made us be ourselves.
We are human beings, not human thinkers or doers.
But Beings.
Just because we have faults doesn't disqualify us from God's plan.
We are on a journey and being refined, pruned, and changed every day.
Look beyond where you are to where you want to be.
Quit sitting around worrying and feeling sorry for yourself.
It's your time to shine!
But first, you must like and love yourself.
Stop comparing your inside to others outside.
Forgive yourself for the mistakes you have made and move on.
God will not bless you if you are not grateful for what he has already blessed you.
Think about your lost dreams.
Enlarge your vision and put a plan together to work towards God's will for you.
You are one with God.
Pray daily.
With God's help, there is nothing you can't achieve.
