Hayden Panettiere’s story is a reminder that we can never tell what someone is going through just by looking at their life.
She had been open about her struggles with alcohol and addiction. And although we still don’t know what caused her death, we do know addiction doesn’t care about fame, money, talent, or success.
Sometimes we think having more should make someone hurt less. It doesn’t work that way.
You can have everything people are chasing and still be struggling within yourself.
That’s why I believe recovery is about so much more than what we stop doing. It’s also about what’s going on inside of us.
